Here it is my holiday diary again. Every day of our Vietnam Holiday we are moving bit by bit to the South. These were our spectacular views captured in photos on days 6 to 9 during our Vietnam holiday. Enjoy!
Day 6 – Hue

Day 7 – drive from Hue to Hoi An
This day we headed to the South again – this time to Hoi An. On the way to Hoi An, we stopped at a fishing village for oyster tasting.

After trying traditional local combination – fresh oysters with lime and rice wine that tastes surprisingly like grappa, we checked the bay from where these oysters are coming. We were astonished to know that oysters are growing on the old bicycle tires.

During the drive, we saw beautiful pagodas…

Breathtaking sceneries…

Had perfect lunch in Danang with lots of fresh seafood…

And finally, in the afternoon we arrived at a charming and busy Hoi An city.
Days 8 and 9 – Hoi An
We spend almost three days in Hoi An, therefore, had plenty of time to explore well preserved Ancient town with Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and French mix of architecture as well as thousands of lanterns in every street.

Greeting from the enchanting city of lanterns!
