We spent our fourth and fifth days in Vietnam just relaxing. First, we took a four-hour road trip to Halong City and then started a cruise through the bay. We ate, enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the rooftop deck of the boat, read, played games, and explored Vung Vieng floating fishing village.
Although the manager of the ship informed us that there was a Wi-Fi on the boat, he also added that we shouldn’t expect the signal to be strong enough and working all the time. Therefore, we were cut out of the world and had an Internet diet for two days.
We all relaxed during a foot massage. I started to read a new book – “A power of habit” by Charles Duhigg. We also had a cooking class and learned how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Boys explored night squid fishing. And then, we had a good night sleep on our little cruise ship.

The next day was an easy going too. We ended our cruise around midday and had a long drive back to Hanoi, where we took the flight to other Vietnam city – Hue.
Night squid fishing! Wow that sounds exciting! I bet my boys would love that experience too. Your pictures are beautiful. 🙂 — amor
