A Letter to the Reader

Notes from a life in search of beauty, balance, and a place to call home.

The Feeling of Home

Home has never been just a place for me. It is a feeling – one that is built slowly, in ways both ordinary and almost invisible.

My story began in Vilnius, continued in Bucharest, and eventually brought my family to Dubai. Different cities, different houses, different chapters of the same life. With each one came the familiar pleasure of making a place our own: arranging rooms, planting gardens, gathering around the table, creating traditions, and finding the little rituals that give shape to our days.

Over time, I began to understand that the feeling of home reaches far beyond the walls of a house.

It is in the flowers brought in from the garden and the table set for no particular reason, in birthdays made magical for the children and traditions repeated year after year. It is in familiar recipes, photographs taken before a moment disappears, books left beside the bed, and the first signs of a changing season.

What We Carry With Us

And it travels with us, too.

A beautiful room glimpsed somewhere far from home. A meal remembered years later. A city that changes the way I see things. A conversation, an idea, an ordinary afternoon that somehow becomes part of the story.

Perhaps that is why I have always felt the need to notice, and to keep a record of what I notice.

EasyHome is where I keep those pieces of life.

Homes and gardens. Journeys and photographs. Family traditions and changing seasons. Things I make, things I discover, thoughts I want to remember, and ordinary days that, with time, become anything but ordinary.

Notes From Along the Way

There is no formula to these pages, just as there is no formula to a life. Some begin with a photograph, others with a thought I cannot quite let go of. They are simply notes from along the way – a record of what was beautiful, what mattered, what changed, and what I hope not to forget.

I don’t write because I have the answers.

I write because life moves quickly, and I want to remember how it felt while we were living it.

And perhaps, somewhere among these pages, you will find something that reminds you of your own.

With love,
Aurora
