#newrecipechallenge - #braisedbrisket . Inspired by Texas famous smoked briskets this weekend I decided to try to cook something similar too. As I am not a big fan of smoked food, I used #braising in the oven instead of smoking on the grill. Beef brisket is one of the least expensive cuts of beef you can buy, but it is absolutely deliciuos. Brisket comes from the lower chest area of the cow. It’s a very tough cut of meat because it comes from the area where there is a lot of muscle and tendons. It has two different muscles, one stacked atop the other, slightly askew and connected by a seam of fat. One muscle is fatty (the pectoralis superficialis, better known as the point), the other lean (the pectoralis profundus, a.k.a. the flat). Both are loaded with tough, collagen-rich connective tissue that gives the meat its structure, but requires low-temperature cooking for a long time to achieve the proper tenderness. Water is necessary for the conversion of collagen to gelatine, which is the hydrolysis product of collagen.

No excuses! When AC in the gym room is broken 😬 and the only cooling place in the house is living room. You can exercise everywhere. No need to go to the gym to be active. You can exercise without equipment, without a personal trainer, without gym outfit, anywhere, anytime. Even mopping the floor, vacuuming and ironing can count as exercise. Better something than nothing #noprocrastinationallowed
