Easy Red Cabbage Science Experiment

Kids love experimenting; this is how they learn about the world. Therefore, science experiments with kids are a perfect family activity. Easy red cabbage science experiment is a simple experiment you can do at home with your kids. It is a fun way to introduce children of all ages to basic scientific concepts.

Because it turns to a particular color if you add different foods to it, red cabbage juice is an excellent pH indicator. The easiest way to impress a young scientist is to use baking soda and vinegar. Most importantly, you can find these in every kitchen.

So, all you need for this easy science experiment is:

  • blender
  • strainer
  • red cabbage
  • water
  • soda
  • vinegar
  • all sorts of different food ingredients you can find in your kitchen

Add five red cabbage leaves and a cup of water to a blender and blend it well and then strain it. You will need only the colorful water for your experiment. Add soda. Add vinegar. Ad kitchen soap. Add different foods…
