Usually, my husband—let’s call him Mr. S—and I have at least one or two adventures during the year just for two of us. We leave our kids in safe hands and break away for a couple of days or a week for an experience of seeing new or beloved places, shopping, eating, and sleeping. It’s our love affair when we fall in love with ourselves again. Every single day is a date, holding each other’s hands and not our kids’. Every single evening is at the place where there is no place for the kids with the food to remember and with the dress to impress. I love these romantic trips.
At the end of the school year, I was running on low batteries; and Mr. S saw that I need holidays more than ever before. So with a couple of smartphone clicks, the trip just for the two of us has been organized. This time, it was Paris. What could be better than to spend almost a week in a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy, and culture? And although that was not our first time in Paris, we had an unforgettable adventure.
This post is not going to be “things to do in Paris” or “Paris itinerary” style. I would like to share my insights of Paris through my camera lens—photos of places and things that unlocked my imagination and inspired curiosity and creativity.
Enjoy!

Thanks, Vanessa 😉 I am happy to hear you like my photograps. I use Sony a6000 Alpha Mirrorless Digital Camera. It is not heavy or bulky. So it is very suitable for the trips.
